About us

Trio Ivy is a virtuosic and imaginative ensemble that combines the artistry of violinist/violist Miranda Werner, pianist Jieun Park, and flutist Rafael Mendez,.

The name Ivy symbolizes resilience, growth, and interconnection, reflecting the trio’s vision of weaving diverse traditions, colors, and voices into a living tapestry of sound. Their main goal is to bring the beauty of music to the stage and create musical experiences that extend beyond the concert hall, fostering deeper connections between audiences and art.

Formed at the Yale School of Music, Trio Ivy quickly established itself as an ensemble of distinction. Highlights include their Carnegie Hall debut in the Yale in New York Series at Weill Recital Hall, a performance in the Oneppo Chamber Music Series Chamber Music Competition Winners Concert, and participation in a masterclass with the Martin Fröst Trio.
